Welcome to Mill Post Farm, the newest addition to the Emerald Equestrian family, owned and operated by Emma and Jacob Rayner. As a young family with a strong dedication to thoroughbreds and the racing industry, they have created a property built on care, experience, and genuine passion for horses. Supported by a team of professional staff, Mill Post Farm operates to the highest standards, with Emma’s unwavering compassion for horses at its core and a lifelong love of racing guiding its direction.

 

Emma is a passionate horse owner and trainer who has been riding since before she could walk. She began her career studying as a vet nurse before establishing her own business in 2009, providing riding lessons and competing with show horses across Australia. Continuing her professional development, Emma completed a three-year full-time program with Steve Hart Performance Horses from 2015 to 2018, further refining her skills and horsemanship.

 

With extensive hands-on experience and a growing reputation as a respected horsewoman, Emma founded Emerald Equestrian in 2018, based in Bungendore, NSW. The business has since developed into a diverse and highly regarded operation, with multiple horses in work, pre-trainers, lessons catering to riders of all levels, a competitive show team, a breeding program, and breakers working across a range of disciplines for various clients.

 

Emerald Equestrian is recognised for its commitment to exceptional horse care, focusing on nutrition, health, temperament, and presentation, while maintaining a professional and results-driven approach. In 2024, this commitment expanded with the introduction of Mill Post Farm. Located in Bungendore, NSW, the farm offers premium thoroughbred services including spelling and agistment, pre-training, broodmare agistment, yearling and sale preparation—all delivered in line with the continued growth and progression of Emerald Equestrian.
